Finished with the Spring House Cleaning and Yard Sales? Time to get rid of all that stuff you couldn't sell or donate.
The Neighborhood Partnership Organization sponsors a no-charge neighborhood clean-up. On JUNE 1st - The city will send trucks out to our community for a special pick-up service June 1st.
Items must be placed at the pickup location by 7:00 a.m. on the above date. If it is put out late it may be missed. Materials should be placed at the curb or alley right-of-way (the side your solid waste is picked up). The number of days required to complete the cleanup will depend on the size of the neighborhood, the number of participants, and the amount of material disposed of.
Customer’s notice: You may be charged!
Please remember that a neighborhood cleanup allows us to put out many items for free pickup that are normally charged for. Please use reason when placing items out. The City charges for pick up of building materials.
If building materials are mixed in the load, the customer is charged for the load. The City will pick up to three cubic yards of material for free (excluding building material). If this amount is exceeded an estimate card with a charge will be left. The customer will need to approve, sign, and return this card prior to pick up. This charge is then placed on the customer’s water bill. The City is also unable to pick up building materials, stumps or logs.”
